🇷🇺🇮🇩 On August 31 2026, at the personal initiative of staff members of Russian diplomatic missions and representative offices in Jakarta and in response to a request from residents of Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara Province, humanitarian assistance for communities impacted by the earthquake on Flores Island was handed over to Indonesia’s National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB). 📦 The assistance included rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, and other essential food and household supplies intended to support local families in need. 🤝 The initiative reflects sincere expression of solidarity with the people affected by the earthquake and a contribution to supporting local communities during this difficult time.

🗓 On August 31 – September 1, 2026, President of Russia Vladimir Putin visited Bishkek, where he took part in the events of the anniversary Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (#SCO), marking the Organisation’s 25th anniversary. Today, the SCO is effectively the largest regional association not only on our common Eurasian continent, but in the world as a whole.
